Could not be more proud…

Wow – what a GREAT night!  We went to Logan’s football banquet and honored a GREAT group of young men.  Their team played hard this year and deserved the honors tonight.

A certain young man received a VERY special award… “The Most Promising Player” award!!  The tears were trying hard to escape so I kept myself behind the camera snapping away to avoid letting anyone else see them.

This was Logan’s first year of football EVER and to receive this award just says volumes about the dedication and determination he has had this year.  I just can’t find words to say how proud we are.

Logan and Andrew…

Logan and Coach Williams…  He really enjoyed him as a coach.  He was hard on you and expected you to work hard… but he was also the first one to say “Way to go” and congratulate you on a great play.

I was filled with tears for many reasons tonight… one being because he wouldn’t be back to play with these guys again next year.  It has been an amazing experience for Logan.  He went in thinking he would be the bench warmer because he had never played before… and came out the Most Promising Player!  I sure hope he will overcome his fears and try out at the new school too!  His future is definitely bright on and off the field!  (Now if we could just convince him to get a haircut!!!)

WE LOVE YOU, LOGAN!!!
